Ruchi Edwards is a Certified Community Work Incentive Coordinator (CWIC) through Social Security Administration who has been providing benefits counseling services to people with disabilities in Maryland and Ohio. Prior to working in this field, Ruchi was a stay at home mom and a military wife. As a military family, Ruchi has had the opportunity to live in several states across the United States. She has also lived in Japan and she has fond memories of her time spent there.
Ruchi Edwards has been providing benefits and work incentives counseling to individuals with disabilities since 2010. Previously, Ruchi has worked as a community partner for a non-profit mental health organization in Maryland. She has served on a Work Incentive Planning and Assistance (WIPA) contract through Social Security Administration in Ohio. In addition to being a CWIC, she has held a certification as a Maryland Benefits Counselor through Maryland Department of Disabilities.
As part of outreach for WIPA, she has been a presenter to train beneficiaries and their families regarding Social Security benefits and work incentives. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from University of Rio Grande in Rio Grande, OH.
