Ticket to Work Coordinator
Cathy Lowery has over 10 years of experience assisting people with disabilities to overcome barriers to employment. She is a certified CPWIC benefit counselor, and is experienced in Social Security work incentives, Medicaid/Medicare, housing programs, food stamps and other programs provided from state agencies. She has the uncanny ability to search out resources to assist her clients in building a better life. Most importantly Cathy wants her clients to know the power of work and how it can positively change their lives. She has worked with transitioning youth to retiring adults. She has extensive experience in case management, benefits counseling and job development. Cathy has worked with a non-profit in Frederick, Maryland, DORS and DDA. She received the Distinguished Service Award from The Maryland Rehabilitation Association in 2012.
Cathy is happy to be part of the Full Circle Employment Solutions team. She has been a benefits counselor since 2012. As a Program Assistant in the Vocational Rehabilitation department, she helps Social Security beneficiaries with the initial steps for benefit counseling. Most importantly, she wants to help beneficiaries understand how employment will affect the benefits they receive so that they are able to make smart decisions to achieve their employment goals.
